Its five illumination modes are designed to suit any conditions, consisting of two constant modes, two flashing modes, and an adaptive mode. Mode memory allows for power up in the previous mode used, saving setup time. It features a low battery indicator which notifies it is time to charge, and also coincides with automatic low-power mode activation. The LAVA 500 LITE is completely tool free and mountable on handlebars or helmet via either of two quick-install, tool-free brackets, one each for bike mounting and for helmet mounting (optional helmet bracket sold separately).

DESIGN

The LAVA 500 LITE I-265P is the smaller and lighter, yet equally powerful mini-me of its predecessor, the I-264P LAVA 500 boasting a maximum brightness of 500 lumens. It is equipped with an ambient light sensor which enables auto-adaptive mode, and also features a daytime flashing mode. An integrated heat sink helps dissipate heat.
